Mr. Vinoo Mehta
Executive Director & Resident Head
Mr. Mehta is a Business Leader having experience of more than 35 years.
Mr. Mehta is a Chartered Accountant and has also completed Advanced Management Program from Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania (USA) in 2018. He is a business professional who is presently the Executive Director & Resident Head of the Kota Complex of the Company. He is heading Plastics (comprising of PVC & Calcium Carbide), Fertiliser and Cement Businesses of the Company.
He has made immense contributions in the areas of energy conservation, cost restructuring & reduction, financial planning & analysis, laying down financial transformation roadmap, business partnerships, reduction of CO 2 emission, water conservation, reduction of carbon footprint, ensuring sustainable growth, waste management etc. While serving as the Resident Head of one of the largest manufacturing Complex of the Company at Kota (Rajasthan) he brought renewed focus on ‘Innovation in Manufacturing’ and ‘Digital Solutions in Manufacturing’.
As a Core Group Member he has been involved in Developing Growth Strategy and Business Process Reengineering Studies of the Company. His other key contributions have come in SAP ERP implementation & SAP S4 HANA Upgrade. In his previous Roles he has served as the Head of Accounts, Finance, IT & Commercial Functions across different locations and Business Units.
Mr. Mehta is a Director on the Board of Shriram PolyTech Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company engaged in manufacturing of PVC compounds and having world class manufacturing facility at Kota. He is also Director of other prestigious institutions such as Fertiliser Association of India & Kota Club.
In his professional journey of last 35 years, he has received various awards and recognitions including the most prestigious CA Business Leader Award for Large Corporates (Manufacturing & Infrastructure) in the year 2022 from the mother institution of Charted Accounts (Institute of Charter Accounts in India).
He completed his schooling from La-Martiniere College, Lucknow and is a sports lover. He participated in some of the most competitive Inter-university sports events (Swimming & Cricket) while continuing to maintain good academic records at School & College. He is extremely focused on the social impact of the Company in Kota City and the State of Rajasthan including implementation of the most unique & ambitious CSR initiatives. His wife Mrs. Saloni Mehta (a homemaker) also supports and joins him in all his social endeavors.
